Theme: Hebrews 10:21,22 has been selected as the Convention Theme Text: “Since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Our responsibilities, challenges, privileges, and joys in the Lord's service will be examined in the light of this scripture.
The program includes a panel discussion on “Since You Look For These Things” probing the meaning of 2 Peter 3:13-15. A discourse is planned on Matthew 7:1,2 “Judge not that you be not judged.” Further, a devotional discourse entitled “Bless The LORD, O My Soul” (Psalm 103) has been included on the program.
Two dialogue sessions are scheduled; “If I Knew Then What I Know Now” about mature perspectives on the Christian life and a second session entitled “Be Not Conformed” based on Romans 12:2. These scriptural approaches will also give insights to guide our current work as ambassadors for Christ. On Saturday evening three symposium talks will explore “The Bread From Heaven”. Other special program features have been planned, as may be found in the convention program below.
We anticipate the 2022 General Convention to be another rich season of blessing from the Lord. May our loving Heavenly Father continue to guide and direct us all as we seek to serve Him and His people.
